"Lean Back, Relax, And Watch The World Burn" (CD 2012). "The Cross" (CD EP 2014). "Box Of Horrors" (CD 2016). "Reborn" (CD 2018).
HIGHLIGHTS:
Two videos in the PS3 / X-Box 360 game "The Darkness". 1st position at My Space (Swedish chart) for a week and top 50 for a month. "Lean Back And Watch The World Burn" was critically acclaimed and landed on multiple listings of top ten charts around the world. 15 tour dates over Sweden with Raubtier and 16 tour dates over Europe with PRONG (USA). Performed at Sweden Rock Festival, Sabaton Open Air, Findustrial Festival, Rock At Sea, Gefle Metal Festival, Rockbitch Bat and other festivals. Since J. Bergman and his creation Man Machine Industry had the opportunity to appear in the Playstation / X-Box game “The Darkness” the band have never stopped moving forward in making new music for the masses. MAN MACHINE INDUSTRY is the solo project of producer/front-man J. Bergman who has a history as the drummer in Slapdash (Nuclear Blast/MNW) and Rosicrucian (Black Mark Prod). After their successful tour through Sweden in 2014 together with RAUBTIER, J.B locked himself in the studio to write and record the album “BOX OF HORRORS” (2016). This album was to be the ignition to a newer, more melodic and heavier sound for MMI. The industrial sound of the band took a step back and as a producer / songwriter /vocalist JB reached “the next level”. When "Box Of Horrors" was released in 2016 people was taken a bit by surprise on how heavy the band had become and that they still developed their sound beyond their own limitations and fantasy. The album lead to a major European tour together with thrash/industrial pioneers PRONG from the US and the band name was branded into metal heads minds through out Europe. The tour ended on a high note at Gefle Metal Festival followed by a few moths break due to J.B´s commitment to another band called REIGNSAW, for which he also wrote a conceptual book and produced their album. Reignsaw´s album was released on GMR Music (Ice Age, Crucified Barbara, Tyranex) which lead to a new record deal for J.B and his MAN MACHINE INDUSTRY committing to release MMI´s next two albums starting with their new album “REBORN” (out August 3rd 2018). With this album MAN MACHINE INDUSTRY marks a new era in their musical journey. A new logo can be seen on the cover art, a heavier and more melodic, yet aggressive, sound can be heard in the production as well as a better musicianship by the performers. The album title sums it up in one word… “ R E B O R N “ and consists of fourteen re-recorded fan-favorites! But fans will not have to wait too long for some new songs from the band. J.B says he already has written ten new songs which is "the best material I have ever written for MMI". J.B calls the music he writes for MMI; HEAVY METAL with a thrashy edge and an industrial touch. That’s what MAN.MACHINE.INDUSTRY is all about!

Dutch Metal Legends Since 1982
"The band delivers musically a great heavy metal set, but the great live performance is just that little bit extra that makes you want to come to a concert." - quote Rockportaal.nl
During the five years that Martyr was alive and kicking (1982‐1987) the band released two albums that are considered cult in the metal scene today. ‘For The Universe’ (1985) and ‘Darkness At Time’s Edge’ (1986) are classic metal, a delight for those who love strong melodies, speedy riffs and a high level of technicality.
In those years Martyr appeared on compilation albums from Roadrunner and Metal Blade, was voted Holland’s best new metal band in Aardschok magazine, has toured with several international acts and appeared on Sky Channel’s Monsters Of Rock. Martyr disbanded in 1987 but reunited in 2001 to play the Heavy Metal Maniacs festival. Four years later the band revived almost the complete 1982 line up to play the Headbangers Open Air and Keep It True festivals. The flame started burning again and the band have continued to play live ever since. December 2008 MARTYR supported US Shock Rockers Lizzy Borden on their European tour. In 2009 and 2010 MARTYR hit the European stages supporting great acts like Flotsam & Jetsam , Vicious Rumors, Jaguar, Evergrey. In 2009 the first new Martyr record in almost 25 years was released. That’s when the new EP ‘Fear’ was coupled with a re‐release of the classic ‘For The Universe’ album as a double digipack entitled ‘Fear The Universe’ on Rusty Cage Records (RCR0017). In 2010 and 2011 Martyr re‐entered the studio between the live shows, working on the successor for ‘Fear’. A complete new album entitled “Circle Of 8” was released by Metal Blade Records in November 2011 world wide and has proven to be a significant impulse in Martyr’s revival after it’s release. With 30 years of MARTYR (with a big celebration in their home town Utrecht – Tivoli) and 30 years of Dutch Steel signed with Metal Blade again: “The Clan Is Back Home and stronger than ever…..” And the band proves it again in 2015 and 2016 with new national and international tours and with the new and heavy album ‘You Are Next” released by Into The Limelight Records in cooperation with Pure Steel Promotions and Soulfood Distribution to be unstoppable. More headline shows , festivals and support tours followed where the always hard working band conquered a bigger audience, especially noticed also in Japan. This resulted in a special release on Edge Trax Records in the land of the Rising Sun. In 2017 MARTYR continues promoting "You Are Next" and will be participating in special projects like the ANA - Metal for Charity project. At the end of 2017 Martyr played their 35 year anniversary show in P60 Amstelveen and ended the year with a fantastic tour through Japan where they played two shows in Tokyo and one in Sapporo. In 2018 Rick Valcon joined the band as their new drummer. Supporting Ice Age and playing festivals and shows, the band is preparing for a very special 2019.

“Metallia” is an epical prog-metal composition in six parts. A multi-layered sonic piece of ravishing solo electric guitars, time-bending tempo shifts, grooving bass lines and deranged drums. It will extract from your mind pure visions, to mend your mental pictures, preen presumptions and to elicit an element of the unexpected…. because that is what will transmute your subliminal mind map into a remarkable blueprint which will lead you from wherever you are now, to wherever you want to be.

early reviews say about 'Metallia':
“Time to tell you about this stratospheric lady who comes from nowhere or from another planet, that of metal-prog-fusion-trash-dream-haunting and not only!” ~ Alain Massard – Profil Prog “If you put Kate Bush, Auf Der Maur, Ayreon, Chiasmata, Igorrr, old White Zombie and Amogh Symphony in a blender with several metronomes running different time signatures, add a healthy dash of thrash riffs to the proggy mix and baked the resulting mixture for several hours you probably wouldn’t even come close to the sound.” – Lee Davidson – Prog Metal Madness “Oh wow! What the bloody hell’s going on here then? Freshness. Uniqueness. Boldness. An outlier! Call it what you like, but this is anything but your typical run of the mill, bog standard, meat and potatoes, vanilla-like metal.” – K-MaNriffs- Blessed Altar Zine ‘Metallia’ is what it is, not music for fragile souls but an evanescent storm of instrumental music (the voice being used not for words, but as sound) that will suit the enthusiast of powerful, progressive and experimental music.” – Rinco Ennema ~ Rock Affairs “Do you get bored quickly by the standard prog metal music offer? that will not happen to you with ‘Metallia’! – Herman Beunk – Xymphonia “Chaos becomes order, the mind blowing ‘Metallia’ by Oh. – Martin Hutchinson ~ Progradar An interesting well thought out project from a talented-mult-instrumentalist ~ Geoff Penn ~Progplanet “Cacophonous, complex, illustrative, dense, awash in radiance, terrifying, challenging- all of it driven by the taut, ferocious guitar work and instrumental mastery demonstrated by Ms. H. Waves of feminine choral sounds weave in and out of the tapestry, washes of intensity rarely relenting, leading me to recall why at one point in my younger days I was strongly drawn to consider using psychedelic drugs. Mind expansion, spirit expansion. Transcendence. Enlightenment. ~ Stephen Conrad – Progressive Rock Fanatics–Progarchives After some interrogations the EP grows on you, which gives us music in a little different vintage, so for the curious, just release the handbrake and discover! ~ Conny Myrberg – Artrock.se Metallia has already drawn the attention of progressive circles, but they have yet to analyze the enigmatic, versatile, bold, suspiciously attractive style of its music. This is one of those circumstances where you think you have heard something similar before, but you can not parallel it with something recognizable. Her material sounds “metallized”, adventurous, and has a cinematic affinity . Above all, however, the sound is disruptive, the vocal injections arouse this impact. Clearly interesting, in a sense it could be co-production of Shrapnel and 4AD. Check it out. ~ George Politopoulos – Flight of Pegasus Neither guitar hero nor singer metal, OH. invents a progressive rock art metal where Olivia’s guitar is queen, sometimes supplanted by her war cries sung like a second guitar. An extraordinary musical experience, extreme for canterbury fans, so to discover absolutely. ~ Jean-Christophe – Neoprog What Oh. screams out of her guitar is not for the faint-hearted, by the constant stream of trash riffs this is a dirty Steve Vai or a vicious Joe Satriani but with balls or better said without balls or at least as well. It is unsettling in the metal scene when a longhaired guitarist turns out to be a woman in the end…Her voice meanders from mood to emotion. From fear to love. The songs do not have a standard structure but are textures like the wandering Etesian winds that so often thrash the Aegean Sea. ~Jos Driessen – Progwereld Oh. YouTube Video's

Professor Black is the name of a new and unrestricted outlet for songwriter and recording artist Chris Black as he enters his next creative phase. Although Chris is recognized today as the frontman for Chicago’s exhilarating hard rock troupe High Spirits, he has meanwhile been active since the late 1990s with a range of other ongoing bands and projects.
No longer willing to simply create a new band identity for each new musical idea, or to cling to the precedents and expectations of existing band identities, Chris decided in 2017 to move forward under a single name. That name is intended to capture as much as possible of Chris’s work outside of High Spirits, whether as a recording artist or live act. Professor Black starts off strong in 2018, including the You Bastard! EP and a pair of 7” singles released earlier in the year. But the proper introduction comes in October, when High Roller Records will release the first three full-length Professor Black albums simultaneously. Of course, something different can be found with each one…

Artist David Reece growing up in Oklahoma USA, was exposed to country music at an early age in his youth. David's interests soon expanded into the realms of the rising rock scene of the 70’s with acts like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Whitesnake & The Rolling Stones. In the late 1980’s Reece’s voice was very well known in the rock scene even outside the US, when in 1989 he got the chance to audition and join German Heavy Metal Band “Accept” to record the eighth studio album “Eat The Heat”.
The supporting Eat the Heat tour consisted of David Reece on vocals, Wolf Hoffmann on lead guitar, Peter Baltes on bass, Stefan Kaufmann on drums, and Jim Stacey (ex-Break Point) on rhythm guitar. The first leg of the tour consisted of the band headlining at small clubs around the U.S. for about two months when Kaufmann sustained a back injury and was replaced by House of Lords drummer Ken Mary. The second leg began the North American act with W.A.S.P. and Metal Church joining the stage.
After touring the world on the big stages with Accept David Reece decided it was time to move on to new musical ventures and in 1991 formed a new band called “Bangalore Choir”. Recruiting friends from the L.A. scene including guitarist Curt Mitchell and John Kirk formerly of Razor Maid , bassist Ian Mayo and drummer Jackie Ramos from Huricane Alice. Their debut album "On Point" was produced by Max Norman in 1992, and featured songs co written by Jon Bon Jovi and Aldo Nova. The hit single “Loaded Gun” hit all major rock stations and the video for the song was a steady on the music channel MTV.
Shortly after Mayo and Ramos moved on to the band Bad Moon Rising with Mayo also continuing with the band Burning Rain. David Reece moved on to form the band Sircle of Silence. The band's lineup included Chris Colovas on bass, Jay Schellen on drums, David Reece lead vocals, and Larry Farkas on lead guitar. In 2010, talks of a Bangalore Choir reunion resurfaced with Reece being the driving force rejoining guitarist Curt Mitchell as well as original bassist Danny Greenberg. These three original members, along with new guitarist Andy Susemihl (formerly of U.D.O.) and drummer Hans in 't Zandt, made a new Bangalore Choir album in spring and summer of 2010, called "Cadence". This the second album, was released on September 23, 2010 through German label AOR Heaven. In November 2011, David Reece stated vocals were completed on a new 3rd Bangalore Choir album "Metaphor" and was released in April 2012.
Around this time the music industry saw a big shift on multiple fronts, and David Reece being an energic and creative soul continued to put out great heavy music. Albums with "Sircle of Silence" and collaborations with the Swedish band "Gypsy Rose", or guitar wizards Martin Kronlund and Christian Tolle continued to pour from Reece despite Industry troubles.
In 2009 Reece's first solo album "Universal Language" hit the shelves and was very well received, just as his second effort in 2013 "Compromise".
With lots of projects in between it wasn't until 2014 when Reece joined EZ LIVIN'. EZ Livin' founded in 1991, in the same year sold 20,000 copies of their debut album, "After The Fire" in Europe alone. After the release of the record, the band successfully went on the road as part of the Metal Hammer Roadshow together with Axel Rudi Pell, Casanova, Coracko and Domain. In 2013, Hans Ziller called some new colleagues to get the group going again. The guitarist added some familiar names to the line-up Harry Reischmann drummer of Bonfire, Chris Lyne (Mother Road, ex-Soul Doctor) on guitar, Ronnie Parks (Tango Down, Seven Witches) on bass guitar, Paul Morris (Rainbow) on keyboards, piano and organ and former Accept front man David Reece (Bangalor Choir) completing the band playing melodic hard rock with a bluesy touch. Chris Lyne appears as guest on guitars.
After a successful run of dates, he eventually joined Bonfire, tracking albums "Glörius" (2015) and "Pearls" (2016), which saw a reincarnation of the band across Germany and Europe.
After leaving Bonfire due to personal reasons, former band mate guitarist Frank Pane contacted Reece after some time to form a new Classic Rock Band. With basic song ideas under Pane's arm, they both started to continue writing with the idea of being the kind of organic jam band, that is about the soul and heart of Rock 'n Roll, and so "Sainted Sinners" was born. Expressing the "pure essence of rock 'n' roll", was the ambition that paired five well-known and experienced musicians together in early 2016, to create and play the music which is deeply inside their hearts and in their blood. The love for rock legends, such as DEEP PURPLE, LED ZEPPELIN, RAINBOW, WHITESNAKE, UFO, BLACK SABBATH, VAN HALEN and many others, built the cornerstone for the music of the new founded five-piece called SAINTED SINNERS. The group's lineup is filled by David Reece vocals, guitar player Frank Pané, keyboardist Ferdy Doernberg (AXEL RUDI PELL) and the dynamic rhythm section of the two former PURPENDICULAR members Malte Frederik Burkert (bass) and the Hungarian drum maestro Berci Hirleman.
On the new solo project "Resilient Heart", David Reece has teamed up with the musicians Marco Angioni (guitar), Martin J. Andersen (guitar), Malte Frederik Burkert (bass) and Sigurd J. Jensen (drums). Reece previously said: "I was searching for a record company that would see my vision as a solo artist, so I reached out to Mike Tramp and he suggested I speak with Michael H. Andersen at Mighty Music. Michael teamed me up with the Danish producer and songwriting team Marco Angioni and Martin Jepsen Andersen, both from the band MERIDIAN. The collaboration we’re working on is exactly where I want to go musically, and Michael H. Andersen and Mighty Music have given me a home to release my new record and given me a hundred percent support and belief in this new record! The album will be recorded at Death Island Studio in Denmark with Marco Angioni as producer and is entitled 'Resilient Heart'."
As one of the hardest working people in rock music, it's naturally and the most important for David Reece to give all the emotion, passion, and creativity into his music, ever since he started and continue to do so.
Heavy metal vocalist, songwriter and former Accept/Bonfire frontman, David Reece, will be releasing his long awaited new solo album worldwide through Mighty Music in November.
“Resilient Heart” an album rich on full blown melodic heavy metal, will be the follow up album from his latest solo album “Compromise” released in 2013. "Resilient Heart" is the perfect album for all fans of heavy metal. It's a wide album containing all of the greatest elements within heavy rock and melodic metal. Yet with a modern production. The first single of the album "Anytime At All" is a wonderful heavy rocker with a touch of Coverdale and Whitesnake inspiration. A song with a powerfull riff, and a strong verse leading up to a bombastic sing-a-long chorus, where a song like "Perfect Apocalypse" stands out with it's progressive Pretty Maids inspired elements. ***More about the "Resilient Heart" upcoming release***

"I was always bored to death by bands that got onstage in T-Shirts and jeans, and stood in one place all night. Hell, the people could have more fun by staying home and playing the albums in the comfort of their living rooms.
I'd rather be dead than stand onstage like that. All I can say is that you think you've seen some wild things already, just give us time, you won't believe your eyes"
This quote was said around 'The Last Command' era, and how right he was, especially when you look at the Kill Fuck Die tour.

The enigmatic Blackie Lawless has been the one constant staple in W.A.S.P. from the beginning, now the only remaining original member he continues to carry the torch. Formed in 1982 W.A.S.P. paved their way with their notorious live shows, battled the PMRC and produced an overwhelming amount of media but the core of the band, the music, is what has carried them through the decades to become the Legends of todays metal scene.
About Blackie Blackie Lawless born Steven Edward Duren; September 4, 1956 is of Blackfoot Native American ancestry. His mother was part French and part Indian. Duren was raised in Staten Island, New York City, where he hung out with Ace Frehley of Kiss. He had a fundamentalist Baptist upbringing, but has also claimed that he was "very active" in church as a youth but in his late teens strayed from the church and became interested in the occut. He credits his older brother with introducing him to the guitar. At the age of thirteen, Lawless got into a fight and was stabbed and as a s a disciplinary measure he was sent to military school at age fourteen. He was expelled after eighteen months of a two-year sentence for assaulting a sergeant major. He began his career in music playing with bands such as Black Rabbit and Orfax Rainbow. In 1975, after Johnny Thunders left glam rock band New York Dolls in the middle of a tour of Florida, the band started auditioning for guitarists. Lawless was hired but only stayed for the remainder of the tour. After the tour, he went to California with bassist Arthur Kane and helped found Killer Kane. At that time, Lawless' stage name was "Blackie Goozeman" as stated on the back of Killer Kane's only EP. About a year later Kane returned to New York City but Lawless decided to stay in West Los Angeles. In 1976, he formed Sister, which also featured future W.A.S.P. guitarist Randy Piper. Lawless' stage antics at the time included lighting his boots on fire (a gimmick he later gave to Nikki Sixx) and eating live worms. Around 1978, a new lineup was assembled which included Sixx as bassist and Lizzie Grey on guitar. Later, Chris Holmes joined. Lawless later formed a band called Circus Circus in 1979, with Piper again appearing in the lineup. In 1981, following Circus Circus' failure, Lawless joined Lizzie Grey and Nikki Sixx's band London, with whom he played a few gigs and recorded two songs as demos, though by this time Sixx had already departed to form Mötley Crüe. In 1982 Lawless switched to bass guitar and along with Randy Piper formed W.A.S.P. The lineup was soon completed with Chris Holmes on lead guitar and Tony Richards on drums. We all know how the rest of the story plays out over the next 30 years (and still running wild) with Blackie's legendary music, shows and worldwide domination of metal! |
