“Lucid After Life is more than a music band, its part revival, part theatre, part music festival that can’t be classified as one genre, their broad sound covers rap, heavy metal, spoken word, with a touch of hip-hop vibe. It really is like going to a music festival and hearing a collaboration of genres; there’s something for everybody.”

"Untaken" Review
"Untaken" breaks out strong leading the album in a brutal assault to your senses and will have your fist banging and head rockin' before leading into "Collide". Collide is a fast paced melodic song about giants and titans in battle. "Haunted Memory" slows down the pace and has a great rhythm to the song. The song has some great lyrics, vocals and choruses throughout and a nice heavy trotting beat that'll get ya body rockin' with the jam. I really enjoyed the guitar in the song that follows along behind the vocals. "The Fare" launches via dual guitars and quickly drops in the band following the rhythm into the lead vocals. The song is very melodic and has some awesome guitars, drumming and lead vocals in the mix. I really enjoyed the flow of the track and the solo work incorporated into the song. "Running Out Of Days" comes out really heavy and pounds out an all out attack with brutal vocals, guitars, basslines and drumming till the end. One of my favorites on the album; I really enjoyed the crunchy guitars and gritty hard vocals/chorus. "Unkindled Flame" a fast paced jam puts the band into a frenzy pounding out the tunes with hast, the song has a lot to offer from each member in the mix. Fans of Iron Maiden will really dig the jam! "No Regrets" sets a dark, heavy feel from start and tells a great story of remorse. The song really does well to capture the listener in the morbid tale."The Arrival" guitars sound off to start this heavy rocker, from single to dual attack the song slowly increases in depth before falling into the crunchy rhythm. One of the favorites on the album with a very heavy offering throughout and a great story of sickness too. This album rocks from the brutal start all the way down to the dual welded guitar attack in the end! I really enjoyed the clean, vintage progressive sound of the band on the album. "Untaken" has no filler and every track on the album is solid, uniquely written, and enjoyable with tales of battle and woe. Each song has something new to offer and in the albums entirety provide a great captivating listen throughout Our Rating 10/10 - overall album content | all songs top quality - no filler | unique and authentic lyrics
Since the formation of the band in 2013 Roskilde based Pectora have released the demo ”Burgeon Of Hate” in 2014 and the EP ”Redemption” in 2017. All of them leading up to their bombastic debut album ”Untaken” to be released through Mighty Music in May 2019.
”Untaken” is produced by the band and mixed and mastered by one of Germany’s leading producers Orden Ogans Sebastian ”Seeb” Levermann (Orden Ogan, Rhapsody Of Fire, Riot V & Brainstorm) in Greenman Studios. It’s an album rich on full blown heavy metal from start to finish. Wrapped up in a modern and big production. Pectora shows that heavy metal, in 2019, still is an active force, where old school and new school heavy metal collides and melt together in the best possible way. The 8 tracks on ”Untaken” showcases a band that knows how to write powerful songs with strong riffs, memorable melodies, harmonies and bombastic sing-a-long choruses, that stick to your brain. If you are a fan of classic metal, thrash, power or hard rock and if you like your music fast, heavy and slow – Pectora is what you are looking for! Pectora will tour Sweden as support for US metallers THEM in May 2019 as well as playing shows in Denmark and Germany. NEW RELEASE AVAILABLE MAY 17TH DISORDER Warmonger Lives! DIVE181 Available 5/17/2019 Preview track: "Ending Is Near"
https://tribunalrecords.bandcamp.com/album/warmonger-lives BOOTCAMP SERIES #42 DECLASSIFIED INFORMATION: DISORDER was born in a garage in Waukegan, IL circa the summer of 1988; consisting of guitarists Eric Haglund and Vernon Voss, Tony Rios on drums, bassist Bill Modica, and Don Hamann on vocals. The short-lived quintet performed just one show at the Kenosha Orpheum Theater in Wisconsin (opening for Wrath), at which an CBS Records A&R rep in attendance encouraged the budding thrashers to record a demo. The group would proceed to lay down a lone four-song, 16-minute cassette at Opus Recordings in Gurnee, IL. Engineered by Alan Pangelinan (Darklin Reach) and produced by Eric Greif—the pair having also worked with the likes of Wrath, Acrophet, Num Skull, etc.—the result was an impressively ripping dose of metal made up of equal parts aggression and melody, fronted by absolutely soaring vocals—perfect for fans of King Diamond, Sanctuary, etc. Unfortunately, these extremely rare recordings were poorly circulated, as DISORDER—together for less than a year—fell apart shortly after the demo was recorded. Two songs from the sessions posthumously appeared on the nearly-as-obscure At the Foot of Brutality compilation in 1989—alongside Masada, Necromacy, Firing Squad, and Num Skull—but the promising young upstarts' run was over... ...until now! Three decades later, Divebomb Records is excited to present Warmonger Lives!, the complete discography of DISORDER. The original master recordings having been lost, the demo session reels were salvaged from storage, requiring a complete remix and remaster by Jamie King at The Basement Recording. The disc will also include original mixes of "Warmonger Lives!" and "Ending is Near," as they appeared on At the Foot of Brutality in 1989; as well as a thorough booklet with loads of photos, plus a retrospective interview with Eric Haglund and Don Hamann. The scorching vocals of Michael Vidal complements the heavy nature to the Tribulance music without coming across as overbearing. The albums nine songs composed of 39 minutes the album is a bit short, but contains the bands best material without including any filler. Los Angeles based, US Heavy / Power metal legends STEEL PROPHET are back with their new massive sounding heavy metal album “The God Machine”,
out on April 26th via ROAR! Rock Of Angels Records!
STEEL PROPHET:
R.D. Liapakis - Lead & Background Vocals (Mystic Prophecy, Devil’s Train) Steve Kachinsky - Lead & Rhythm Guitar, Keyboards Jon Paget - Lead Guitar Vince Dennis - Bass (Body Count, ex-World in Pain, ex-Dia de los Muertos, ex-Tourniquet, ex-Prong (live), ex-Obscene Gesture) John ‘JT’ Tarascio - Drums
The voice of R.D. Liapakis sounds tough, bluesy and strong, with wide range, power and style. The high notes come effortlessly, and the lead vocals make you want to stand up and wail along
with his singing. The drums sound huge and perfectly combine that old-school punch feeling you get in classic heavy metal albums while sounding fresh and up to date at the same time. The guitar work on the album sounds like all the hallowed marks of Heavy Metal classics with speedy licks and fast, furious and melodic riffs and solos complimented by fat basslines that anchor all instruments into a magnificent combo highlighting the amazing vocal lines. Each song is a delight by itself and elements of thrash, doom, and even some Scorpions tinged melodicism can be found in the band's US Power Metal. If you live and breathe the spirit of Heavy Metal you will be astonished by "The God Machine" in its entirety. Produced by Steve Kachinsky and R.D. Liapakis (Mystic Prophecy, Devil’s Train, Suicidal Angels, Firewind, Eldritch, Silius, FireForce and many more). Mixed and mastered by “Best Producer 2017-Heavy Music Award” winner Henrik Udd at Henrik Udd Recording Studios(Architects, BringMeTheHorizon, Hammerfall, Powerwolf etc), who gave "The God Machine" a smooth and polished, yet brutally heavy sound. The album starts with the absolute banger album title song “The God Machine”, featuring furious rhythms, fast riffing and catchy arena choruses preparing the ground for “Crucify” which along with “Dark Mask / Between Love And Hate” will catapult the listener back to the best NWOBHM years while “Thrashed Relentlessly” is the definition of US power metal riffing! Songs like “Damnation Calling” and “Lucifer / The Devil Inside” will bring in mind the mighty “Headless Cross” Black Sabbath,Tony Martin era. The album’s multidimensional yet classic Heavy Metal mark is ultimately revealed to the listener as soon as the power ballad “Buried And Broken” kicks in! “The God Machine” is a high quality metal album that will become an instant classic among STEEL PROPHET’s catalogue!
About Steel Prophet
The highly respected STEEL PROPHET, hailing from Van Nuys in California, deliver technically minded Progressive Heavy Metal. The band was actually assembled in Middletown, Connecticut during 1983, at first involving guitarist Steve Kachinsky Blakmoor, frontman Gary Stocking and drummer Harry Blackwell. A four track demo was recorded working with co-producer Mike Arafeh. A second set of songs, billed 'Resurrection' and recorded at The Center for Media Arts in New York, again saw Mike Arafeh behind the desk with a third session, in 1985, tracked at The SynHouse. The band then evolved, drawing in singer Dave Brooks, bassist Wayne Faircloth and John Tarascio on drums to record a song 'In The Dream', donated to the 'Iron Tyrants Vol.2' compilation album in 1987. STEEL PROPHET would then commit to the studio for the 'Steel Prophet' demo tape.
In 1988 Kachinsky Blakmoor and Tarascio relocated to Los Angeles, California, re-building an all new STEEL PROPHET with vocalist Scott Lindsenbard, guitarist Domenic Chavira and bassist Vince du Juan Dennis. Before long Nick Mantis of ASCENDENCE usurped Lindsenbard and the group's next effort, 'Visions Of Force', was released by Tru Star Entertainment. in 1988. Still in flux, the band pulled in new second guitarist Jon Paget and Rick Mythiasin, having a fleeting association with PANTERA, as new singer. Yet another demo, 'Inner Ascendance', arrived in 1989. Reaction to this demo in Europe was strong and in 1992 the material was thought highly enough of the Metal underground to share space with JAG PANZER on an infamous bootleg release. Throughout the early nineties STEEL PROPHET engaged in extensive live work across California, opening for the likes of MANOWAR, SAXON, ARMORED SAINT, CANDLEMASS, FATES WARNING, SACRED REICH and FLOTSAM AND JETSAM amongst many others. The group signed to Foundations 2000 Records, cutting pre-production tapes in anticipation of an album release. When no schedule was forthcoming, the band self-financed their commercial debut. 'The Goddess Principle' album was released in 1995 on the Brainstorm Division imprint. The recording roster for this outing comprised singer Rick Mythiasin, guitarists Steve Kachinsky and Horacio Colmenares, bass player Vince du Juan Dennis with John Tarascio on drums. The Art of Music label in Germany picked up a license for European release. A five song EP, 'Continuum', was delivered in 1996. Another shift witnessed the departure of both Colmenares, forging NEW EDEN, and Tarascio and the subsequent installation of Jon Pons on guitar and drummer Pete Parada. This revised formation crafted the 1997 album 'Into The Void (Hallucinogenic Conception)'. The album comprised numerous re-works of earlier material including 'Passage Of Time (Amber Leaves)' and 'The Revenant', previously known as 'Dogs Of War', both originally from the band's 1986 demo and a cover of IRON MAIDEN's 'Purgatory'. Guitarist Bernie Versye contributes to the song 'Hate'. The band signed a new record deal with leading German label Nuclear Blast Records in 1998 to record the 'Dark Hallucinations' album in the spring of 1999. These tracks were laid down with new drummer Pat McGrath, a scene veteran of RIOT, PROTOTYPE and KILLING CULTURE. Studio guests on 'Dark Hallucinations' included guitarist TRIBE OF GYPSIES guitarist Roy Z., AGENT STEEL's Bernie Versailles and Joe Floyd of WARRIOR. To market 'Dark Hallucinations' the band toured across Europe backing GAMMA RAY, EDGUY and with ROLAND GRAPOW's solo band, as well as appearing at the 'Wacken Open Air' festival. During 1999 STEEL PROPHET cut their homage to JUDAS PRIEST with their take on 'Dream Deceiver' appearing on the 'Hell Bent For Metal' tribute album. The next studio effort, entitled 'Messiah' released in January 2000, had Kevin Cafferty involved as session drummer. Upon release John Pons was replaced by Jim Williams to undertake another round of European shows sharing stages with ANGEL DUST and LEFAY. STEEL PROPHET's 2000 release 'Genesis' comprises the band's 1989 'Inner Ascendance' demo together with various cover versions of tracks by JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA, BLACK SABBATH and surprisingly SIMPLE MINDS. STEEL PROPHET drafted ex-SORG member Petter Karl Rosqvist on drums in 2001, working with WARRIOR's Joe Floyd as producer to record 'The Book Of The Dead' album at Silver Cloud Studios. The band's first nationwide US tour had the group flanking HELSTAR and REIGN OF TERROR with notable stops at the Milwaukee Metalfest XV, Progpower 2, Utltrasound 2001 and the Powermad festival. Mythiasin would embark on a side project assembled by Tobias Exxel of German act EDGUY. This union, the 'Spirit Of Freedom' album, was released under the TARAXACUM banner in 2001. The singer would also session on the late 2001 REDEMPTION project assembled by guitarist Nick Van Dyk. In February 2002 the combination of Joe Floyd and Silver Cloud Studios was revisited in order to render next album 'Unseen'. Rick Mythiasin made his exit from STEEL PROPHET to concentrate solely on TARAXACUM during July 2002. However, by September, and despite breaking his leg in three places whilst trying to perform a handstand, Mythiasin had enrolled with NEW EDEN for their 'Stagnant Progression'. The ex-singer subsequently forged the suitably titled MYTHIASIN. 2002 would also bring about the arrival of VINDIKATION, a new band featuring STEEL PROPHET members guitarist Jim Williams and drummer Karl Rosqvist working with vocalist Jason McCrarey of SANCTUS and WINDS DIED DOWN keyboard player Rob Rampley. This unit soon set to work on an album entitled 'Chamber of Discontent'. Rick Mythiasin acted as session guest. In a surprise move in April 2003 STEEL PROPHET called upon the services of former Glam star Nadir D'Priest as their new frontman. The new singer was best known for fronting Los Angeles 80s bands LONDON and D'PRIEST as well as issuing a 1998 Spanish language album 'Tatuaje' billing himself as ANTONIO NADIR. The group also added guitarist Pete Skermetta at the same juncture. By November the new look band, having debuted on the live front at the 'Dwell in Darkness' festival in Phoenix, Arizona, had completed a set of demos in preparation for a new studio album 'Beware', having switched labels from Nuclear Blast to Massacre Records. February 2004 found the band parting ways with drummer Karl Rosqvist, leaving to join THE DISCIPLES, and replacing him with returning skinsman Kevin Cafferty. 'Beware', surfacing in July, saw release through Nightmare Records in the USA, Massacre Records in Europe, Canada and Australia and Megahard Records in South America. European variants added a bonus DVD disc consisting of live material, documentary and promotional video for the song 'Leatherette'. The US version too added a bonus disc, this comprising the 'Eyes Of The Prophet (Visions Past)' album. This extra material also saw a European release as a separate, limited edition vinyl picture disc issued by Hellion Records. October witnessed a major shake up in the ranks as the band parted ways with guitarist Pete Skermetta, drummer Kevin Cafferty and bassist Vince Dennis. Newly installed in a quick fire swap would be NEW EDEN guitarist Tim Thomas, HELLION, MOTHER MERCY, Orange County acts BRAT PRINCE and SHATTERED, besides DEF LEPPARD tribute act PYROMANIA credited bassist Glenn Cannon and Gene McEwen, veteran of ARMED FORCES and PROJECT STEIGER on drums. This revised line up debuted on 18th December at The Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood. In April 2005 STEEL PROPHET announced that AGENT STEEL singer Bruce Hall had become the new frontman. In side activity, Glenn Cannon activated Gothic Industrial band HADES INFERNO. Steve Kachinsky-Blakmoor activated a Death / Thrash side venture billed DEATH FOLLOWS A SHADOW in collaboration with the erstwhile ENRAGED pairing of vocalist Charlie Z and bassist Jason Lenhard. An EP, 'Five Stages Of Death', arrived in May. In June Gene McEwen joined ex-ANTHRAX singer NEIL TURBIN's live band. Vocalist Rick Mythiasin rejoined STEEL PROPHET in March 2007 for new album recordings. 13th September 2008 saw Steel Prophet headlining the famous German Swordbrothers Festival, but for this gig they surprisingly played without Steve Kachinsky. The 2008 release The Shallows Of Forever by Steel Legacy Records consists of very old recordings from a time before the band had even released their first demo Inner Ascendance. In February 2011, Steve Kachinsky announced on the official Steel Prophet internet forum that the band has got 8 songs ready and will start recording the new album when another 6 songs will be done. The album will contain a new metal version of the fun-song Oleander that was the outro of their 2001 album Book Of The Dead. Over the course of 2014, the band began re-releasing their previous albums as remastered vinyl editions, starting with the release of The Goddess Principle on January 31 (limited to 400 pcs worldwide, including a limited 150 pcs worldwide edition with black & white splatter look and bonus Steel Prophet logo pin & patch) and continuing with the Continuum EP and Into the Void combined on one release on September 19 (CD version including a limited Steel Prophet logo patch) and November 28 (vinyl version, including a limited to 150 pcs worldwide blue vinyl edition with Steel Prophet logo pin). As special gift and horrific surprise Bloody Hammers deliver their fifth studio album entitled The Summoning on June 26th 2019 via Napalm Records! Halloween comes earlier this year!
Anders Manga on the new album: "When I think about my earliest influences, the horror film genre is just as important as musical influences and they’re all fuzed together in my brain from childhood. When I was a kid, there was a show called ‘Shock Theatre’ that aired late at night on our local WGHP network in the early 80s. They played ‘Dr. Phibes Rises Again’, ‘Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things’ and weirdness like that. Around the same time slot, over on channel 61, there was a music video show that played Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Alice Cooper and all those artists our satanic panicked local churches and teachers were freaking out about... and forbidding. I tried to put myself back in that time when I wrote The Summoning. In my mind, it’s a tribute musically and lyrically to those magical macabre memories. Back when paranoid adults thought kids were brainwashed and likely worshiping Satan in the woods… good times!" About Diviner
DIVINER is a heavy/power metal band from Greece founded by long-time friends and music partners Yiannis Papanikolaou (vocals) and Thimios Krikos (guitar) in the summer of 2011. The two of them also formed the well known Greek heavy/power metallers InnerWish back in 1995 playing in their debut album “Waiting for the Dawn” (1998) but after this release they had a long break of different musical quests. Their new vision was to proudly express themselves by creating and playing something powerful, intense, deep, heavy, dark, melodic and inspired that at the same time would sound up to date. All this without losing the elements that reflect the essence of pure and timeless magic of metal music. They were joined in the band by George Maroulee s (guitar), Herc Booze (bass) and Fragiskos Samoilis (drums) and a deal was inked with the Swedish label Ulterium Records. The debut album “Fallen Empires” was released in November 2015 and received very good reviews and feedback from around the world. After the release of the album the band played many shows and big festivals in Greece and also in Germany, Netherlands and Switzerland, and became known for being a great and energetic live band gaining a strong following. Thimios Krikos left the band in 2017 due to a heavy and conflicting schedule and was replaced by Kostas Fitos. Diviner entered Devasoundz Studios in Athens with producer Fotis Benardo in summer 2018 to record their second album “Realms of Time”. This time they decided to expand their music horizons, exploring more territories, adding new elements in terms of lyrics, melodies, riffs and atmosphere, making their songwriting more interesting and better. The band worked really hard on coming up with the best compositions, arrangements and production as possible for the ten songs they set out to record. The final result show improvements on every level since the band’s debut album and “Realms of Time” won’t leave fans of heavy and power metal disappointed. The album is heavy, melodic and epic and it’s full of energy, power and emotion. Follow Diviner into the Realms of Time!

Biography
The heavy metal band Emerald from Düdingen, Switzerland was founded in 1995 and rose out of the ashes of the 2 local bands Dark Crystal and Oppress. Two years later Emerald played their very first gig at the annual concert of the local music school "David's Musicworld" in the following line-up: Jvo Julmy (vocals / guitar), Michael Vaucher (guitar), Adriano Troiano (bass), Thomas Vaucher (keyboards) and Stefan Neuhaus (drums). In this line-up, Emerald recorded their first self-financed album Rebels Of Our Time which was released independently in 1999. In general the album was very well received. Shortly after, Adriano Troiano decided to leave the band since he wanted to concentrate on his own projects. A replacement was found in Stephan Kaufmann. In 2001 the band delivered their second independent release Calling The Knights. The reviews for this album were once again stellar and the CD was even awarded "demo of the month" in the prestigious Rock Hard Magazine. This led to the band's first record contract with the german label "Shark Records / Crazy Life Music" who then re-released Calling The Knights in a re-mixed version with new artwork and 2 bonus tracks. Later that year, drummer Stefan Neuhaus quit the band to spend more time with his family. After a long and tedious search, a suitable replacement was found in Andy Bächler. In 2003 Emerald had the honour of playing at the Headbangers Open Air in Germany. In 2004 Emerald entered the Mohrmann Studios in Germany to start the recording of their 3rd album Forces of Doom which was released via Shark Records. In 2006 Emerald signed a new contract with Pure Steel Records and started working on the next album Hymns To Steel. At that time Adriano Troiano re-joined the band and replaced bassist Stephan Kaufmann who left the band due to personal reasons. Right after the release of Hymns To Steel in 2007, drummer Andy Bächler decided to leave Emerald as well in order to concentrate on other projects. Al Spicher was recruited as the new man behind the drumkit. In the middle of the songwriting process for the next album, Emerald had to undergo once more a massive line-up change: Founding member and main trademark of the old Emerald sound, Jvo Julmy quit the band due to personal reasons. Since Julmy was the band's vocalist as well as the 2nd guitarist, he was replaced by 2 new members: Thomas L. Winkler on vocals and Manuel Werro on guitar. In 2010, the newborn sextett entered the Little Creek Studio in Switzerland to record their fifth album Re-Forged under the supervision of producer V.O. Pulver (gurD, Poltergeist, Destruction). The album featured some very special guests such as Sean Peck (Cage), Mike Sifringer (Destruction) and Damir Eskic (Gonoreas). Despite the massive Line-up changes the record was very well received by the press as well as the fans. Emerald were able to promote their album at the Up The Hammers Festival in Athens, among others. Only 2 years later, Emerald released their sixth studio album Unleashed which was once again produced by V.O. Pulver. With George Call (Aska / ex-Omen / Banshee) the album featured once more a very special guest. The band went on to promote this album on their first ever European tour as support for the legendary US metal band Helstar, which brought them to countries like Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria and Switzerland. Meanwhile the album received once again excellent reviews from all over the globe. In the beginning of 2013 Thomas L. Winkler and Manuel Werro decided to leave the band. While Manuel left immediately, Thomas agreed to still play all remaining gigs that were scheduled for the rest of the year. A new lead guitarist was quickly found in Julien Menth. Meanwhile, the long and tedious search for a new singer began. No suitable Swiss singer seemed to be available for the position. In 2014 the band finally scored George Call (who already appeared as special guest on the previous album) as the new voice of Emerald. Since George was based in the US, it wasn't possible to play any gigs for the time being. Therefore Emerald concentrated on writing new songs for the upcoming album. During that time Adriano Troiano once again left the band due to lack of motivation. A replacement was immediately found in young bass player Vania Truttmann. In November 2014 Emerald hit the Little Creek Studio once more to record the songs for the next album in their instrumental versions. Afterwards the tracks were sent to George to add his vocals overseas. But since George was a very busy man and involved with several other bands and projects, it took him more than a year to start the recordings of his vocals for the album. Meanwhile the band grew impatient and started looking again for a new singer based in Switzerland. This time they were lucky and found the perfect singer in Mace Mitchell. George still contributed 3 tracks for the album. The rest was performed by Mace. "Reckoning Day" finally saw the light of day in in March 2017. The album received excellent reviews from all over the globe and pushed Emerald to the next level. Meanwhile the new line-up of Emerald was very active playing a lot of gigs in Switzerland, Germany & Austria, which added to the popularity of the band. In November 2018 the band once again entered the Little Creek Studio to record their 8th studio album, again with V.O. Pulver as producer. The Swiss heavy metal veterans EMERALD present their 8th studio album “Restless Souls”. It is an evolutionary continuation of the last release "Reckoning Day" from 2017 and showcases the band as a stable unit in its best form ever. Now, the band reveals the first official video for the song "Digital Slavery" which can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/BbH2YqGJFPY

The topics on "Restless Souls" range from fantasy and horror, politics and history to social criticism. Since the whole line-up of EMERALD was involved in the songwriting process right from the start, as opposed to the previous album, the songs on the album have a more compact, elaborated feel to them. The production was once more handled by legendary Swiss producer V.O. Pulver who manages to combine the warm sound of 80’s metal with the power of modern production standards.

Rammstein - New Album

Charlotte Knobloch, former president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany and Holocaust survivor, said “With this video, the band has crossed a line. The instrumentalisation and trivialisation of the Holocaust, as shown in the images, is irresponsible.”
The German government's commissioner for anti-semitism, Felix Klein, said the band "crossed a line" with the imagery in the video. “I consider this a tasteless exploitation of artistic freedom,” he added.
Well, they're probably not going to like the full video for the song that just premiered, which goes even further with the Holocaust imagery and features band members being hung. Overall, it's exactly what you expect out of a Rammstein video. The video was directed by Specter Berlin.
Here are the lyrics to the song:
[Stanza 1] You (you have, you have, you have, you have) You have cried a lot (weeping, crying, crying, crying) Separated in the mind (separated, separated, separated, separated) Im Heart united (united, united, united, united) We (we are, we are, we are, we are) Are already very long together (you are, you are, you are, you are) Your breath cold (so cold, so cold, so cold, so cold) The heart in flames (so hot, so hot, so hot, so hot) You (you can, you can, you can, you can) Me (I know, I know, I know , I know) We (we are, we are, we are, we are) you (you stay, you stay, you stay, you stay) [refrain] Germany – my heart in flames Wants to love you and damn Germany – your breath cold So young, and yet so old Germany! [Stanza 2] I (you have, you have, you have, you have) I never want to leave you (you cry, you cry, you cry, you cry) You can love you (you love, you love, you love, you love) and wants to hate you (you hate, you hate, you hate, you hate) arrogant, superior takeover, surrender surprise, Germany, Germany invades all [Refrain] Germany – my heart in flames Wants to love you and damn Germany – your breath cold So young, yet so old Germany – your love is curse and blessing Germany – my love I can not give you Germany! Germany! [Bridge] You I We You You (overpowering superfluous) I ( Superman, tired) we (who rises up, which is deep fall) your (Germany, Germany above all) [Chorus] Germany – my heart on fire Will love you and damn Germany – your breath cold So young, and yet so old Germany – your love is curse and blessing Germany – my love I can not give you Germany! |
