Thunder: The Underrated Backstreet Symphony

These guys hail from jolly ol’ England. Band members are Danny Bowes (lead singer), Mike Morley (backing vocals/guitar), Gary James (drums), Ben Matthews (guitar/keyboard) and Mark Luckhurst (bass).

Their debut album called “Backstreet Symphony” came out in 1990 and reached #21 on the UK album charts and #114 on the USA Billboard 100. In 1992, they released their 2nd album, “Laughing on Judgement Day” which reached #2 on UKAC.  Both of these albums were certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry.

​Thru the years, there have been several hiatuses and coming and going of members, but they still managed to put out some great albums. They have 11 albums under their belt and they STILL sound pretty good!
