The Poison Dollys were formed in Long Island, NY in 1981. The 4 ladies who were in the original line-up only put out one album in 1984, self-titled “Poison Dollys”. All of the tracks on this album are pretty good. I’m not sure why they weren’t more successful, maybe because it was because men ruled that heavy metal scene in the 80’s.

 They moved the band from NY to L.A. in hopes of finding fame and fortune, in 1988. They continued on until 1994. After several line-up changes, the band called it quits. When Gina Stile left the band, she went on to form the band ‘Envy’ with her sister then onto Vixen for one of their resurrections. She also played in a ‘Heart’  cover band called ‘Ban Animals’.
