“Encore” is a special live album, recorded during TNT’s headlining set at Frontiers Rock Festival in Milan on April 30, 2017. This release is the last live footage of the unique combination
of the American singer Tony Harnell with the band’s master mind, guitarist Ronni LeTekro. Tony rejoined TNT in early 2016 after his brief stint with Skid Row. TNT soon signed a recording deal for a studio album with Frontiers and also agreed to a live appearance at the legendary label festival in Milan, Italy. The band were in fine form and delivered a great set full of classic songs lifted from timeless albums like “Knights Of The New Thunder”, “Intuition”, “Tell No Tales”, and “My Religion”. A fitting testament to a great band and one of the last performances of the band with Harnell on vocals, “Encore” is a release that cannot be missed by fans of the band.

Bringing Rock Back Rock out to our debut EP ! A five song CD in a jewel case with lyrics on the inside booklet. W.A.l.K.E.R. released their first single "Time To Party" in June 2017, which was mixed by producer Michael Wagener who has worked with bands such as Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne Skid Row and many more. The single reached number 2 in the Irish rock charts and received air play in multiple countries such as Ireland, UK, USA, Australia and more. This propelled the band back into the studio to record their debut EP “Bringing Rock Back” which was also mixed by Wagener. The Result is a smokin' hot EP with a blend of classic melodic rock and metal sound that defines W.A.L.K.E.R. with style. "Time To Party" kicks off the album with a punch in the nuts with this party anthem song sure to heat up your next rock gathering. The jam reminds me of Skid Row back in the bands prime. "Bringing Rock Back" will be a fav for Babylon Shakes fans with the vintage sounding guitar, vocals and choruses. The song has some great guitar throughout and a fat solo to boost. "Dreaming" slows down the flow with a great hard beat and smooth lyrics, in this feel good jam. I really liked the guitar lead and vocals in the song. "She's On Fire" picks up the grind and is a great rocker, the jam would also be killer for the dance floor. "When It Rains" was my favorite track on the album, because of the mean metal groove, band vocals and song lyrics and really had me banging along till the end. I'll most def be spinning this album with some heavy rotation on every one of these killer tracks! Superb album, guitars, drumming, lead and backing vocals throughout. I Can't wait to hear W.A.L.K.E.R.S. full length album sure to follow! Every song on the album hits our 5 star killer rating, giving "Bringing Rock Back" a perfect 5.0 Star recommendation for all you metal heads out there looking for a new band and killer sound! I have to admit I have tended to avoid new generation bands for the past several years. I simply replayed and replayed again my old favorites. Once we started The Manamal station I found out that there are SOOOOO many great new bands and I immersed myself in them thoroughly. My years of blindness caused me to miss out on a band called Vains of Jenna. Only when I discovered The Cruel Intentions and fell in love with Lizzy Devine's voice did I become aware of his previous band. So, while this post is about The Cruel Intentions there is a lot of history from Vains of Jenna that carries over to the music that Lizzy's new band is making.
If you ever watched Jackass, L.A. Ink, or Viva La Bam you might have heard of Vains of Jenna. They were the first band ever signed to Bam Margera's record label- Filthy Note. From their formation in 2005 the Swedish band toured Europe and thanks to great performances and great interest by the powers that be they were invited to perform at Cruefest Los Angeles in 2006. After seeing their performance Bam created the record label and signed them. Lizzy, Nikki, JP and Jacki released their debut album "Lit Up/Let Down" that fall. Vains of Jenna released 3 full length albums the 3rd album released in 2011 featured a different singer, Jesse Forte. Lizzy had left the band. Vains of Jenna disbanded a few years after Jesse joined up. Vains of Jenna are most well known for the songs "Get it On", ' Hard to be Vain", and 'Enemy in Me".
Another dot to connect Vains of Jenna to the esteemed world of heavy metal was their manager, none other than Tuff frontman and CEO of Metal Sludge Stevie Rachelle!!
Back in Sweden after a break from the music biz Lizzy hooked up with Mats Wernerson, and Kristian Solhaug. They were joined at the time by drummer Eiliv Sagrusten, who has since has been replaced by Robin Nilsson. Initially The Cruel Intentions were keeping things lowkey. Playing shows and releasing songs individually the band was able to create quite a fan base and buzz in the industry before releasing their debut full-length album "No Sign of Relief" in September 2018. This album has been touted as the best sleaze metal album of 2018. Personally, I agree! I enjoyed the hell out of the videos released before the album- my favorite has to be White Pony, but I also jam the hell out of Accidentally Intoxicated. From the album I think my favorites are "Genie's Got a Problem", "Borderline Crazy," "Jawbreaker" and "Devilicious".
If you're looking for a band that puts you in the mood of your favorite sleaze rockers like Guns'n' Roses,
Faster Pussycat and L.A. Guns you need to check out The Cruel Intentions today!!!!
This female fronted, 4 member band hails from deep in the heart of the midwest. Their debut album, “Hot Bang” comes out swingin’ hard. You can hear the band’s influences throughout the album, such as, The Runaways & The Donnas. They have a raw sound that kicks you in the gut. The first track on this album, “I Want Your Love (I Want Your Drug)” will immediately gives you a Halestorm crossed with The Runaways and The Ramones feel. The beginning of this track is just drum and singer, Carlii Foxx (singer) then around 12 seconds in, the other band members join in and they’re a’rockin’!! Fast forward to their album title track, ‘Hot Bang’. This song starts off with a cowbell then breaks into a great guitar riff. This sets the tone for the rest of the song where Carlii goes loud n’ hard. You can’t help but to bang your head to this tune. Another great song on this album is ‘She’s Got the Looks That Kill”. This song is the closing track and is home of one of the catchiest riffs out there! The last minute of this song, you will find amazing guitar harmonies. My favorite song off of this album is “Talk About the World”. The intro guitar is badass! Not only that, the vocal hook is very strong and in your face. It keeps you wanting more and more! Every song on this record flows nicely from one to the next. Once the last track ends, you keep wanting more. Lucky for you there is a repeat button! Blending old school rock n’ roll with punk elements, The Rumours new album, “Hot Bang” pull out all the stops. Fast tempos, catchy riffs and an underlying message they here and they are going to take this world by storm! What are you waiting for?! Get out there and have a listen! You won’t be sorry! ~Misti-Dawn |
