Dogged perseverance and unyielding determination are qualities shared by countless bands struggling to break out from their hometown club scene and onto the arena stage. Memphis, Tennessee quintet Savage After Midnight have exhibited far more patience and dedication than most. They are gearing up for the release of their debut EP, "11:59" (RED Music/The Century Family) on March 8th, 2019 with a run of tour dates with Memphis May Fire.
"Since the band members formed in 2009, Savage After Midnight have been sidetracked by an obligatory name change, a studio fire, scrapped recordings from different producers, a crippling lawsuit they had nothing to do with and an 11th hour record label change. We’ve been put through the wringer, man,” says vocalist Shi. “We’ve totally been fed through it. If it’s true that what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger, then we must be the strongest band in the world.”
The years of trial and error, and even more years of being uprooted and returning to square one made Savage After Midnight a more professional band, improving their chemistry and allowing them to fine tune their presentation both live and in the studio. The band connected with producer John Falls (Egypt Central) and recorded what would become the "11:59" EP. The band's "work-hard-by-day, rock-harder-by-night" ethos is poured into a collection of songs that are an energized, emotional introduction to musicians that desperately want to make a mark, but only on their own terms. S.A.M. music is aggressive, but still has pop sensibilities. The tracks are colored by galvanic hard rock passages, a contrast of screamed melodies and soaring hooks, and it’s augmented by electronic segments that give the band a modern edge.
“10 Feet Tall,” the first single and video release from the EP, is already making inroads at SiriusXm Octane and Music Choice. It's anthemic and energizing, building from a melodic verse, through a propulsive bridge and into an unforgettable chorus. “Unleash,” the opening cut on the EP, is a message of empowerment in the face of adversity, driven forward by steady backbeats, chugging guitars and electronic effects. “Heartless Machine” is an intense song about soldiers who are sent to war and desensitized, trained so that they will obey commands that civilians never have to contemplate.
Savage After Midnight has toured with Shinedown, Sick Puppies, Pop Evil, and Story of the Year, among others. The band will be touring throughout 2019, and additional songs have been recorded for another EP to be released late this year or early 2020.
Living up to the band's name, leader Shi admits: “We all like to get wild. There’s something savage about us when it comes to throwing down and partying - it’s just who we are. We work really hard, but at the end of the day we’re down for a good time. We'll put on whatever work hat we have to, but once it strikes midnight it's our time - and it’s time to tear it up!” 2019 will be the year that Savage After Midnight tears through the rock world and at long last makes it mark.

Crazy Lixx Announce New Album "Forever Wild" Via Frontiers Music SRL To Be Released May 17TH And Release 1ST Single "Wicked"
BREAKING NEWS: Crazy Lixx Official Announce New Album, "Forever Wild", To Be Released May 17, 2019 via Frontiers Music srl. First single, "Wicked" Out Now.
Swedish hard rockers Crazy Lixx are back with another gem of an album that harkens back to the best of ‘80s hard rock, while also keeping a foot firmly planted in the 21st century. “Forever Wild” further cements the band's status as one of the leaders of the Scandinavian led hard rock revival, cleverly melding a sleaze/hair metal approach (reminiscent of Motley Crue, Warrant, and Winger) with voracious hooks and melodies.

Crazy Lixx Line-up:
Danny Rexon – vocals | Joél Cirera - drums | Jens Anderson – bass guitar | Chrisse Olsson - guitar | Jens Lundgren - guitar
With huge choruses, instantly memorable riffs, wailing, emotive guitar solos, and massive production by Danny Rexon and Chris Laney, "Forever Wild" is sure to resonate with old fans and new listeners alike. Singer Danny Rexon says, "Ruff Justice was the first album where I took on the full role of producer, including recording, engineering, editing and some of the mixing. Naturally, there were things that I learnt along the way and, in retrospect, things that could have been done better. On the new album, I was once again the producer, but this time I brought in a whole lot more experience with me and had a clearer picture of what needed to be done to get a GREAT sounding album. So, you could definitely say that the new album is a natural progression from 'Ruff Justice'. It’s actually the first time in the history of the band where the same band members have recorded under roughly the same conditions, in the same studios, with more or less the same equipment and with the same producer. For the first time, you can hear continuity from one album to the next, so I’d say if you’re a fan of 'Ruff Justice', I bet you’ll enjoy this new album the same, if not even more!"
The band explores a wider range of styles than ever before on “Forever Wild”. From the hard rocking and anthemic opening track “Wicked” to the AOR inspired upcoming single “Silent Thunder,” to songs like "Eagle", that sounds like it came off a Bon Jovi album circa 1986, Crazy Lixx manage to blend a love and reverence for ‘80s hard rock with their own unique stamp on each track. Rexon continues, "I think the way the album turned out has a lot to do with the current line-up that we established in 2016. I’ve always been a fan of melodic hard rock and hair metal, but with previous members, we’ve been pulling a bit more in different directions at times, so the result hasn’t always gone towards the goal I’d like them too, certainly not as much as it has on this album. I can honestly say that the way Crazy Lixx sounds today is a lot closer to how I envisioned the band to sound in the early 2010’s (around the time of 'New Religion') than how we actually sounded 5-6 years ago."
With “Forever Wild", Crazy Lixx have set the bar very high against their own revered and celebrated catalog. Their best album yet? We’d say so!
Don’t miss Crazy Lixx while they’re on the road in support of the album either, as their live shows are a sight to behold! Danny concludes, “On release day (May 17th), we have an album release show in our hometown of Malmö, along with fellow Frontiers band Creye. I’d recommend this event for all the fans that want to see some new songs live for the first time and get a chance to hang out with the band, get the new album signed, and all that fun stuff. After that, we’re lining up a bunch of summer festivals to kick off touring. I think there is a definite summer vibe to this album and the new songs will really fit well on an outdoor summer festival. Really looking forward to this summer’s shows.”

Messer are continuing their momentum from their breakout year by releasing "Simple Man", the 3rd single and video from their self-titled debut album released in April 2018. "Messer" reached #3 on the Soundscan New Artist chart and was named New and Noteworthy at iTunes. The Dallas.
The Texas based band had a banner year in 2018 with first single “Make This Life” reaching #25 on the Active Rock radio charts, and second single "Save Myself" also made it into the Top 30 - the only truly independent act to do so.
"Simple Man" is already making inroads at radio and digital streaming services, and is set to follow in the footsteps of "Make This Life" and "Save Myself" which garnered attention throughout the rock world with spots on key Hard Rock playlists @ Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora Radio, Google Play Music, Youtube and Slacker Radio. The band has received positive press @ Loudwire, AXS, Alternative Press, Revolver, New Noise, Pure Grain Audio, and more.
The band is gearing up to go back on the road in the 2nd quarter of 2019, having played more than 100 shows last year including a 40-city sold out tour with RED and Lacey Sturm. The band was personally invited by Kevin Lyman to play the Texas leg of the final Vans Warped Tour.
The band's cutting-edge modern rock sound was born through serendipitous connections in the thriving Deep Ellum music scene of Dallas, an area that has given rise to iconic Hard Rock and Metal bands like Pantera, Drowning Pool, Hell Yeah, and King's X. The band grew their fan base locally, and began to branch out regionally and nationally, opening for notable bands such as Sick Puppies, Candlebox, Hinder, Vince Neil, Black Stone Cherry, Drowning Pool, Metallica, Scott Stapp Of Creed, and Avenged Sevenfold, among others. It was on one of these tours that the band caught the attention of Los Angeles based writer/producer, Chad Gendason. The band felt an immediate comradery with Chad and a lasting bond was made. Messer started writing with Chad, and their first collaboration became "Simple Man". Fan favorite "Whiskey" soon followed and the songs started to flow into what would become their self-titled debut album "Messer". The album was mixed by Ben Grosse (Marilyn Manson, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed) and mastered by Tom Baker (Papa Roach, David Bowie, Motley Crue).
Messer continues to build on their momentum and is forging ahead with gritty determination – powered by a ton of positive energy.

What can you say about Billy Morris?! Well for starters, we can say he is Cleveland, Ohio’s golden child and for good reason! This badass guitarist has played for many bands, such as, Warrant, Quiet Riot & Kidd Wicked not to mention the many bands he has toured with, bands such as Whitesnake, Poison & Ratt.
Right off the bat, with the first song, it takes you right back to the 80’s and the Sunset Strip. The first single, ‘Party Like it Never Ends’ is super catchy and I guarantee you will be singing along with the chorus by the end! It’s the next big rock anthem!
The song, ‘Dressed Up Like a Millionare’ has an awesome intro which is pure badassery!! (I may or may not have played air guitar the first time I heard this!) This one is solid, old school rock n’ roll. The guitar playing is on fleek & the drums...don’t get me started...heart pumpin’ beats!
‘Hook it Up’ offers you energetic power while the more pop type songs, ‘Holdin’ All the Aces’ & ‘When I Fall’ take you back to the 90’s pop sound and it really works for them!
My personal favorite off of this album is “All the Right Words”. The lyrics really spoke to me and anyone can relate to the message being conveyed. It has a pop rock feel and Morris’s voice really shines.
This album is dedicated, in honor, to Kevin Dubrow (Quiet Riot). In the liner notes, you will also see a special thanks to the late, great Jani Lane that says “thank you for making my rock n’ roll dreams come true. RIP brother.” If you are a fan of good ol’ rock n’ roll, check out ‘Holdin’ All the Aces”, you’ll be glad you did!

This female fronted, 4 member band hails from deep in the heart of the midwest. Their debut album, “Hot Bang” comes out swingin’ hard. You can hear the band’s influences throughout the album, such as, The Runaways & The Donnas. They have a raw sound that kicks you in the gut.
The first track on this album, “I Want Your Love (I Want Your Drug)” will immediately gives you a Halestorm crossed with The Runaways and The Ramones feel. The beginning of this track is just drum and singer, Carlii Foxx (singer) then around 12 seconds in, the other band members join in and they’re a’rockin’!!
Fast forward to their album title track, ‘Hot Bang’. This song starts off with a cowbell then breaks into a great guitar riff. This sets the tone for the rest of the song where Carlii goes loud n’ hard. You can’t help but to bang your head to this tune.
Another great song on this album is ‘She’s Got the Looks That Kill”. This song is the closing track and is home of one of the catchiest riffs out there! The last minute of this song, you will find amazing guitar harmonies.
My favorite song off of this album is “Talk About the World”. The intro guitar is badass! Not only that, the vocal hook is very strong and in your face. It keeps you wanting more and more!
Every song on this record flows nicely from one to the next. Once the last track ends, you keep wanting more. Lucky for you there is a repeat button!
Blending old school rock n’ roll with punk elements, The Rumours new album, “Hot Bang” pull out all the stops. Fast tempos, catchy riffs and an underlying message they here and they are going to take this world by storm! What are you waiting for?! Get out there and have a listen! You won’t be sorry!
DIZZY FOX was founded in the dark year of 2016.
As their old band was slowly disbanding, the drummer Criss and his bass companion Stanley
quickly contacted the straying singer Dariolicious and as the story goes, the chemistry was splendid!
The magic continued as their search for two guitar wielding ruffians ended
with Luke and Freddy completing the ranks of DIZZY FOX!
The stage was set, the mission was clear!
Quickly they found their rhythm and it didn't take long for them
to record their first demo which was released in August 2017!
Now shortly after the release they hunger for more,
writing new songs and getting ready for their dazzling live shows while developing and evolving their own style.
It was only the beginning for DIZZY FOX!

Viva La Paradise – The Process
Work on Swedish melodic rockers GRAND DESIGN’s fourth album, Viva La Paradise started in June 2017. While the first two albums were solely written by frontman, Pelle Saether, he started letting in other writers in on the band’s third album, ‘Thrill of the Night.’
With Viva La Paradise the song writing philosophy was even more open, with guitarist, Janne Stark contributing to four songs (“Too Late To Fall In Love”, “Viva La Paradise”, “It’s Only Straight From The Heart” and “Rawk ‘N Roll Hysteria”), while Dennis Vestman put his mark on “Aim For The Heart” and “U Can’t Fool Love.”
Like its predecessors, Viva La Paradise was recorded at Studio Underground in Västerås, Sweden. The process was that Pelle recorded the basic tracks on his own, programmed drums and laid down some guide bass and guitar pats, while making the final arrangements. When the arrangements were finished, Janne and Dennis started recording the guitars. At this point the songs were 90 % finished. During the recording process, new ideas also came up and the songs were changed a bit. The idea to record a cover of Kansas’ “Fight Fire with Fire” as a possible bonus track for Japan was something, as a long time Kansas fan, Pelle came up with. So, when Janne was in the studio recording some guitars, he and Pelle came up with a new arrangement and recorded the guitars in about an hour! All rhythm and clean guitars were recorded through a classic Rockman rack unit, while Janne recorded his solos through his Marshall JVH410HJS. When the guitars were recorded, since we didn’t have a permanent drummer, Perra Johansson (Coldspell) came in and recorded the drums. Finally, Stefan recorded the bass for all the songs and Pelle started working on the vocals. While recording the vocals, he caught a really bad cold and some raspy moments can be heard here and there (which could be described as “rock ‘ n roll”).
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers..."
While they may have cut their teeth on KISS and The Black Crowes, or Queen and Humble Pie, The Great Affairs simultaneously draw from the Pop well of such ‘80s icons as Rick Springfield and Bon Jovi, juxtaposing these elements with the sound of more contemporary acts like The Gaslight Anthem, Butch Walker, and The Stereophonics, to offer up the kind of sweaty, gimmick-free, big guitar anthems that'll rattle your brain, just as easily as they might slip into lonesome troubadour mode and soothe your soul.
The Great Affairs recently signed to NY-based Kivel Records for the release of their new LP ‘Ten & 2’, due in June 2018. Once again recorded with Grammy-nominated mixer and engineer Michael Saint-Leon(Buddy Guy, James Cotton), this record finds the band pursuing a more muscular, guitar-heavy sound, owing as much to their Classic Rock forebears as formative efforts had to the Singer/Songwriter model. Inspired perhaps by the 2017 covers collection ‘Six Pack’, where the band mined and re-imagined gems from ‘70s FM stalwarts like Thin Lizzy, Fleetwood Mac, and Cheap Trick, the forthcoming collection openly embraces their various influences to create a sound that is both comfortably familiar and refreshingly its own.
THE GREAT AFFAIRS are:
Denny Smith: vocals, guitars, harmonica
Patrick Miller: lead guitar, vocals
Matt Andersen: bass, vocals
Kenny Wright: vocals, drums, percussion
