Vandallus is an experienced group of musicians spawned out of the pure passion of 80’s rock and metal. We write great songs in the vein of late 70’s to mid 80’s.
Mastered by Grammy winner Arnie Acosta (The Who, Frank Zappa, U2, Peter Frampton, Giant), On The High Side takes you back to late 70’s to early 80’s in terms of the songwriting, feel,
and production. Our main goal is to spread the art and sound of an era that won’t be forgotten by providing the same high energy music and performance, without cutting any corners.
Vandallus Short Bio
VANDALLUS from Cleveland Ohio, USA feature two thirds of the mighty Midnight in their line-up.
VANDALLUS is Jason’s baby “aka CrazyV”, Midnight boss Jamie Walters also wrote a few songs to kickstart the debut album "On The High Side (2016)" via High Roller Records.
The idea came about of making an album in the vein of late 1970s/early 1980s hard rock.
Being that there was a significant amount of underground buzz about the music, it had become a functioning band.
The sound of "On The High Side" is a very direct and sort of old school sound, according to Jason, that’s exactly how it was originally planned: “The main vibe with this band is all about
capturing an era that won't be forgotten, just straight forward old school hard rock without the bs. I had the debut album mastered by Arnie Acosta (Santa Monica Mastering) whom worked
on many of the classic productions of that time. The follow-up album “Bad Disease” was recorded live in the studio and released in 2018, and then came the 3rd powerhouse “Outbreak” .
“I'm all about classic dynamic recordings with a real live drummer, no pitch shifting, and no crushed or fake elements.”
Now Vandallus unleashes the fourth classically driven and motivated album titled "4" to be released on September 13TH 2021
via Mercinary Records NE Ohio's home of all things LOUD and DISTORTED.
VANDALLUS are very much motivated to play live as often as they can.
Generally, we like to stick to more festival-type shows because we like to put on a full out energetic performance without cutting any corners.
The 80’s is an era that I'm truly inspired by, and through the music we're trying to get the upcoming generations to be as inspired as I am.
Our goal is to get the younger kids to see the energy and vibe, and experience what the classic shows were all about.

"Ups!de Down" released April 30TH 2021 worldwide via mighty music
Featuring the singles "Super God" "Tumblin' Dominoes" and "Its Not The End" The Electric Boys brought the funky and vocal album with all killer and no filler on this seventh release.
Launching the album off is "Upside Down Theme" a groovy and intoxicating step into the latest release, followed by the hit single "Super God" boosting that classic lovable Electric Boys groovy rock n' roll sound, ya better get ready to dance. "Tumblin' Dominoes" great vocals and soothing guitar over pumping bass and drumming keeps this funk infused song rockin. "Never Again Your Slave" a dark and heavy rock anthem to get your fists pumpin' rockers with a mean vibe. "She Never Turns Around" a melodic and harmonic journey that'll take you far into the depths of the album with amazing sound and vocal work, great jam! "Globestrutter" a feel good ol' school jam to get ya' going, with a smile right. Our personal favorite track? "The Dudes And The Dancers" a twisted and vocal track with amazing electric boys funky sound. "Twng 'em Kerrang 'em" a high energy dance able track" makes for a great party song. "It's Not The End" really sets the mood for The Electric Boys funky style to melt in with euphoric tones. "Interstellafella" takes you down the rabbit hole to close out the album, and what a fun track with beats you can feel stirring about in your head, great closer!
"Ups!de Down" is by far one of our favorite new Electric Boys albums with what feels like that old school sound that we all came to love in the bands music. The album really impressed us with the amazing volume of signature Electric Boys sound stuffed into each and every track throughout the mix. Having already heard the first 3 singles it was obvious that the new release was going to be a solid rocker. Love it from start to finish and would most def recommend this latest offering to all our rockers reading the review. I think this album will have a large and broad following based on the incredible work in the music. Great job Electric Boys!!!!
About The Electric Boys
The ELECTRIC BOYS are much loved for their idiosyncratic combination of hard rock and other forms of music such as funk beginning with their first album “Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride” in 1989.
In April 30th 2021 the band will release worldwide their seventh album “Ups!de Down” which continues and advances this fusion of music styles to make something of their very, very own.
Recorded at Ghost Ward studios like their successful previous album “The Ghost Ward Diaries” and co-produced with David Castillo the album showcases the songwriting and performing
talents of founder members Conny Bloom on guitar and vocals and Andy Christell on bass while also introducing ‘Slim’ Martin Thomander on guitar. Jolle Atlagic plays all the drums on
the album, as the band’s original drummer Niclas Sigevall - still very much part of the band - could not leave LA due to the pandemic.
The album reflects the turbulent times of this year and spontaneously and organically formed into a concept album tackling adversity and fearmongering and championing the human fighting spirit and ability to transcend even the most difficult situations to find hope and victory over life’s circumstances. As such the album taps into the collective consciousness of 2020, being contemporary while also drawing on a wide variety of influences such as Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Bowie, 50’s Rock and Roll, late Beatles and even the Sisters of Mercy. Probably less funky than some of the band’s earlier material it is no less eclectic and provides a potent cocktail reflecting the history of rock and roll and the light and darkness of existence.
“You can see the light at the end of the tunnel rather than simply the runaway train” in songs like “This Is Not The End”. When things are This big and seem out of control you can reverse it and
gain control by letting it go.” (Conny Bloom). The freethinking and rebellious spirit of the band is alive and well in this latest album and the belief in the power of the message of music and its
ability to change the world.
People commonly mention to the band that Electric Boys songs have changed their lives, inspiring them to take up instruments and how much the band’s songs have meant to their fans.
Known for his fine guitar work and languidly cool persona Conny Bloom is also recognized for his work with Hanoi Rocks and Ginger in the Wildhearts. Andy Christell also joined Hanoi Rocks with Conny and with his distinctive top knot is the epitome of steady, bellbottom-fluttering rock bass.
The band has a tour planned in Sweden and is hoping to widen and include more dates worldwide as circumstances permit.
“Ups!de Down” will be released in digital, LP (four different colours available) and CD formats by Mighty Music on 30th April 2021.

About Deep Purple/Whoosh!
Deep Purple has just confirmed a new album titled Whoosh! which is slated for a August 7TH release via earMUSIC.
The Bob Ezrin-produced recording (his third for the band) is the iconic group’s 21 and a limited edition version will include for the first time the band’s full live performance at Hellfest 2017.
Musicians Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Steve Morse, and Don Airey were invited by Ezrin to visit Nashville where they would write and record where the guys adopted the motto
“Deep Purple is putting the Deep back in Purple.” Morse notes, “We’ve included everything that made the whole band smile, including Bob Ezrin. We’ve always enjoyed making music and having the incredible luxury of a loyal audience.”
Deep Purple’s brand-new studio album “Whoosh!” follows their worldwide chart-topping albums “InFinite” (2017) and “NOW What?!” (2013). For the third time, Deep Purple joins forces with producer Bob Ezrin, and together they created the most versatile album in their collaboration, “stretching out in all directions” without any limitation, letting their creativity go.
“Deep Purple is putting the Deep back into Purple” was the half-joking motto in the studio after the first songs made it clear that Ezrin and Purple were on a path to creating an album
pushing the boundaries of time, while voicing their resentment about the current situation of the world and addressing all generations.
“Whoosh is an onomatopoeic word that, when viewed through one end of a radio-telescope, describes the transient nature of humanity on Earth; and, through the other end from a closer perspective, illustrates the career of Deep Purple.” - ig
“Whoosh!” will be available as Limited CD+DVD Mediabook (incl. the 1h feature “Roger Glover and Bob Ezrin in conversation” and, for the first time, the full live performance at Hellfest 2017
as video), 2LP+DVD Edition, Limited Boxset and Digital on August 7th, 2020 on earMUSIC.
Already the content of the Limited Box Set has been revealed. It will contain the 2LP Gatefold, the CD+DVD Mediabook, three 10” vinyls containing previously unreleased live recordings from Deep Purple’s performance in Rio 2017 “The inFinite Live Recordings, Vol. 2”, an exclusive Deep Purple Collector’s T-Shirt as well as three Art Prints.
You can pre-order the album here: https://deeppurple.lnk.to/WhooshPR
Coinciding with the release of the new album, Deep Purple will also embark on a full European tour starting in summer 2020.
